Wow, this is amazing ! Great concept, I love that stone and how those fairies seem to be glowing and the background is beautiful too ! Excellent work !

Beautiful work again! I love the colour schemes, and the little sidestory that you give with each story. And her wings and arm cuff thing are just beautiful!

*smiles* Thank you. I am really happy with how this turned out. It's one of the first times I have painted stone on such a large scale and I will be the first to admit that I found it somewhat intimidating so it's nice to know that all the hard work paid off.

She is the earth beneath my feet;
Breath of the divine.
She is the Mother of creation;
The fire that lights my soul.
She is me.

:hug: Thank you ... I don't think they'd represent 'me' without the story. I find that as I get older everything needs to have a meaning or a story just as it would in life.

Another beautiful creation. I enjoy all your artwork, and this is one of the even better ones. The stone is indeed marvelous, and you did the glows perfectly. Only criticism is that the bottom right fairy seems a teensie bit squashed in. Colours on Dawn are very beautiful. A great piece altogether!

*sighs again*

Honestly, woman. You never cease to amaze me with each and every piece you create.

You breathe such life into these pieces. The colour, the story, everything . . .

With the simple colours of dawn, the sigh and whispers of the wind play with the first rays of light that can come out from her hand. It is not a music you hear with your ears, but it is something that grows inside you, like small waves that grow bigger and bigger until they are a storm of light and fool all your senses until you think you have reached heaven.
The notes are clear as winter drops of waters in icy caves. They echo to eternity. And she, that doesn't see and feel things like us, smiles, for she knows more about this mystical creation, the core of the essence of dawn itself, that we can even perceive with our lives.
Her smile creates the first colour of dawn. And every night it's like this...

Great work. Loved the colours! The contrast is something that calls my atention pretty heavly since I wasn't waiting to see such pastels with browns and blues. Way to go Michele!
