Medium: Acrylics and Coloured Pencils Represents: Play You know what? The more I paint these card artworks, the more rabid my dislike for my scanner becomes. It eats purples and blues, and anything that has a range of dark to light seems to always be a little wrong in the brightness/contrast side of things. That aside, there's a kinda wonky cuteness I find appealing about this one. Something's not quite right with her face, but I cannot keep re-working it or it's just going to end up messy and probably worse ... So ... I'm leaving it alone. She's cute, and she's playful, and she's finished. Please meet Hebe  |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. My scanner hates blues and purple as well. My digital camera is the same on some blues and purples.
