Cronus is another of the Titan cards and represents cycles, changes, and transformation.

I lost a lot of stock images in a wee bit of an accident around the same time as I created the linework for this one. After I had finished, I realised that the face was too young and sweet looking to be Cronus so I altered it, using my partner's face instead. I discovered today that the original stock was by Ailin Stock and I would like to credit them for the image from the head down and the staff is sourced from their stock, while the image above is sourced from my own.

To 'dehumanise' them. They are gods ... not mortal humans. Also, I have a real love for greek statuary and many of them are iris-less ... :)

I just love all kinds of mythology and Greek is one of the many which I love the most. Norse gods are the only one I like more, and Finnish, of course :D

You were absolutely right when choosing more craggy features instead of young and sweet. Allthough, I think these are quite sweet too ;)
